Sometimes Executive Coaching focuses on processes. Sometimes, people. The Executive Coach works with the executive or manager to shine light on the issues he/she sees as needing attention. Within one company a coach may be working with different executives on self-development, increased team output, better communication, greater customer satisfaction, increased efficiency, re-allocating resources after downsizing, rebuilding the workforce as business increases, succession planning, employee development or any topic that affects the goals set for the coaching by the company and the manager or executive
Often it is through Executive Coaching that we discover what training or systems most need attention within your organization. The issues that drain your talent's time from more productive work are identified and solutions considered. Coaching is always client led. Once issues surface it is up to the client to choose the direction of the coaching. The client may choose to delve into those issues or to simply absorb the new awareness and work on other areas.
We find that sometimes managers are hesitant to engage in the coaching. Typically, after the initial Discovery Session they have tasted the excitement of new learning and eagerly engage in future sessions.
Executive Coaching can be done in person or over the phone. Both venues are equally effective.
