We often see two types of entrepreneurs. The most common type, the Busy Bee, bounces from product development to sales to accounting to marketing to product delivery with narry time to look up and see what help is out there. The Busy Bee hears about work/life balance but thinks it's for other people. The other very common type is the Osmosis Entrepreneur. The Osmosis Entrepreneur is passionate about her product or service, usually has a website and tells everyone about his or her new product. He/she is generally a smart person with some life experience who doesn't get why she doesn't have more customers. The Osmosis Entrepreneur has not yet learned the skills of doing business nor the entreprenuerial mindset and yet, perhaps through osmosis, she expects to be a successful entrepreneur.
Our goal for all of our entrepreneurs is a steady business that includes work/life balance, enough income to meet the entrepreneurs goals, and strong long-lasting business relationships.
Our Small Business Coaching is designed to help business people develop an entrepreneurial mindset. An entrepreneur is always assessing a person's needs to determine if he/she can fill or if there is a referral to be made to a colleague. An entrepreneur is always looking for what value he/she brings to the person standing in front of him or her. An entrepreneur must brag about the product, the customer service and the company. If you can't brag about how you help other people (or animals or the planet) with you product or service, you will not stay in business.
We work with entrepreneurs from developing their product, their vision, their company to putting systems in place for marketing, product delivery, accounting, sales, safety, organization, and physical environment. Whether it's researching production for a new product or discerning ones ideal client we are there to support you.
In more mature organizations we can help bring efficiency, higher profits, work/life balance and an exit strategy. By working one-on-one with business owners we can address your needs. Like all coaching, our Small Business Coaching is client led. The coach may suggest a topic, but the client is always in charge.
We offer periodic teleclasses and webinars, as well as running free support groups to support small businesses while they mature. We offer a free 45-minute coaching session so you can determine if Small Business Coaching is what you and your enterprise need.
